Active Sports Awareness by Qatar Nannies Training Academy
Qatar celebrates annually the National Sports Day on the second Tuesday of February. This celebration aims to expand the scope of community participation in various sports activities. Qatar is one of the pioneer countries in this regard; where a full day is dedicated to sports activities by the entire community. Things were different this year due to the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, where events varied between virtual and individual in the interest of everyone’s safety.
Qatar Nannies Training Academy (QNTA) offered its nannies a number of activities to emphasize the importance of sports, and to raise awareness among them on the importance of the culture of practicing sports as a lifestyle. QNTA also allocated a gym in the students residence, in addition to the allocation of fitness classes in the evenings; while taking into account all precautionary measures in place.
QNTA by this active work on sports awareness also emphasizes the nannies’ effective role in establishing a healthy and active young generation. It, furthermore, allocated a number of outdoor classes coinciding with the country’s celebration of the National Sports Day for the sake of developing the nannies’ cognitive skills on the basics of children’s health routine in order to support their overall growth, increasing their practical engagement in varied activities, and enhancing their motor abilities and flexibility to facilitate their interaction and dealing with children. QNTA also included heritage activities to engage the nannies with the Qatari heritage in order to enhance their knowledge of the Qatari culture.
