Exploratory Visit by Qatar Nanny Training Academy (QNTA) to Qatar National Library (QNL) to Enhance Childcare Practices and Cultural Integration.

As part of the efforts to strengthen the partnership between Qatar Foundation centers, QNTA organized an informative visit in collaboration with QNL aimed at showcasing the diverse sections and services offered by the library.

The visit shed light on various sections of the library, particularly focusing on the Children’s Library and its rich educational and cultural resources. A close look was given to the array of books and resources dedicated to children, emphasizing their use in an educational context.

Regarding working with Qatari families, attention was directed towards how nannies could maximize the use of the Children’s Library content when transitioning to work with Qatari children. Emphasis was placed on the importance of integrating library resources with the local culture, customizing activities and stories to meet children’s needs, and enhancing their understanding of authentic Qatari values and traditions.

This visit marks a significant step in enhancing the nannies’ skills and broadening their horizons. The knowledge and experiences gained can contribute to improving the quality of education and providing effective support to Qatari families in nurturing and developing their children.
