Qatar Nanny Training Academy Welcomes Its 14th Batch of Students

The Qatar Nanny Training Academy (QNTA) has welcomed its 14th batch of students from Comoros, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Kenya, marking another step in its ongoing efforts to prepare qualified nannies equipped with high professional standards in childcare.

The new students began their journey at the Academy with an orientation week designed to introduce them to QNTA’s mission and vision, as well as the structure and nature of its training programme. The orientation also provided students with essential knowledge to help them adapt to the academic environment and prepare for the next stage of their training.

The students will then embark on an integrated academic and practical programme comprising 11 specialised subjects that combine theoretical knowledge with hands-on learning. The programme also includes practical training at Qatar Foundation’s early childhood education centres, providing students with opportunities to apply their learning in a specialised educational environment and develop their skills in interacting with children and supporting their growth and development.

The programme aims to prepare students to play an active role in childcare within Qatari homes by equipping them with the skills needed to provide a safe and stimulating environment that responds to children’s needs during their early years. The Academy also places particular emphasis on preserving and reinforcing Qatari children’s identity, which remains a key pillar of its vision and training approach.

The enrolment of the 14th batch reflects QNTA’s continued commitment to developing a generation of nannies who are equipped to fulfil their responsibilities with professionalism and awareness, contribute to supporting families, and enhance the quality of care provided to children. In doing so, the Academy contributes to broader human development efforts at both the local and regional levels.
