Sustainability is Our Life

Under the slogan “Sustainability is Our Life,” the Qatar Nanny Training Academy implemented a variety of activities and events with the aim of promoting and spreading the culture of sustainability among the nannies. These events were designed to encompass a wide range of topics related to sustainability in order to increase awareness and understanding of this important concept.

The nannies who participated in these events benefited from a series of educational lectures that covered diverse subjects. Among these topics, the focus was on:

Well-being and Mental and Physical Health: Emphasis was placed on the importance of comprehensive care for the mental and physical health of individuals. Advice and guidance were provided on how to enhance personal well-being and overall quality of life.

Promoting Proper Nutrition for Infants: The significance of providing proper nutrition for infants and young children was highlighted. These lectures included advice on providing healthy and suitable nutrition for the healthy growth and development of children.

The Effectiveness of Recycling Resources for Producing Qatari Traditional games: the nannies were encouraged to use recycled materials to produce traditional Qatari toys. This aspect contributes to supporting local culture and participating in environmental sustainability.

These events were part of the participation in the national campaign for Qatar Sustainability Week, which was organized by “Earthna” Center for a Sustainable Future in collaboration with various entities and organizations from November 4 to November 11, 2023. The campaign aims to engage the local community in a diverse array of activities and events related to sustainability to increase environmental awareness and encourage positive participation in achieving sustainability. This initiative offers a platform for different organizations in Qatar to showcase their initiatives and highlight innovative solutions in the field of sustainability. The national campaign is organized annually and forms an essential part of the efforts to promote sustainability in Qatar.
